Finding yourself means being honest about who you are, accepting your flaws and strengths, and understanding what truly makes you happy and fulfilled. It often involves questioning societal expectations, familial pressures, and other external influences that might have shaped your beliefs and goals. It's about aligning your life choices, including your career, relationships, and personal pursuits, with your authentic self.

First and foremost, my therapeutic approach is rooted in Rogers' person-centered therapy, which is grounded in the fundamental belief that individuals are inherently motivated toward achieving a more meaningful and fulfilling life. By providing a non-judgmental and empathetic environment, my goal is to empower individuals, allowing them to delve into their core values and navigate their distinct paths towards personal growth and self-realization. I emphasize the significance of self-exploration and self-acceptance, guiding clients to recognize their inherent capacity for positive transformation.
Additionally, my therapeutic toolkit includes a range of evidence-based approaches such as narrative therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and emotion-focused therapy, among others. I apply these methods in an integrated manner, customizing the therapeutic process to align with each individual's specific path of self-discovery. -
The number of therapy sessions needed varies greatly from person to person and depends on several factors, including the nature of the issues being addressed, your goals for therapy, your level of commitment and engagement, and the therapeutic approach used.
It's important to understand that therapy is a personal journey, and there is no fixed timeline for how long it should take. You and I can discuss your progress regularly, and together, you can decide on the most appropriate duration and frequency of sessions based on your evolving needs and goals. Some people may choose to attend therapy intermittently for ongoing support, even after their initial concerns have been addressed. Ultimately, the number of sessions needed is a collaborative decision between you and I, tailored to your individual progress and requirements. -
We accept various credit card options, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Union Pay. Payment will be processed securely through the Jane Payments after each session.
It's important to note that private practicing therapy services are not covered by OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Plan). However, many insurance providers in Canada do offer coverage for services provided by licensed psychotherapists. After each session, you will receive receipts that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. We recommend reaching out to your insurance provider directly to verify the extent of your coverage and ensure a smooth reimbursement process. -
